Strabirra Taproom

September 2025. Now we can finally offer our beers in our new larger taproom, Strabirra, located here in the beautiful historic center of La Spezia. In our new location where in addition to our beer we can also offer sandwiches, cheeses and cold cuts. We also serve wine and a small selection of drinks. Although our main focus is on our craft beer.

The story behind

The story began in a completely different part of Europe. With the Late Night Brewery in Stockholm, Sweden. A side project brewery that we ran for a few years until we decided to move everything to La Spezia, Italy. A place that was, and still is, close to our hearts. Both the people and the wonderful area Golfo dei Poeti and the surrounding hills. With new, larger equipment we produced the first batch of beer in December 2016.
Then 2024, after eight years of production, hard work and with a location far too small for our production, shop and taproom, we realized that we had to move in order to realize our visions. The choice was a location in the historic center of La Spezia. At the same time we moved, we also chose to go from being a brewery to becoming a beer firm. So now we brew our beers, our recipes, at other breweries in the area, but with the same high quality as before.
